PSAT Tests
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a great tool for students considering college. The PSAT measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills and writing skills. Saratoga High School recommends that students take the PSAT in order to receive feedback about strengths and weaknesses, enter the competition for National Merit Scholar Scholarships (11th graders) and to help prepare for the SAT.
Saratoga High School offers families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access.

SAT Tests
Who: Juniors are recommended to take the SAT (or ACT) for part of their college admissions. Juniors are recommend to take the SAT for the first time in the spring and a second time during the fall of the senior year. Seniors should take the test no later than December of the senior year. (Check with each campus, as acceptable test dates may vary).
What: The SAT is one tool designed to assess student academic readiness for college. The test has three parts: Critical Reading, Math, and Writing.
When & Where: The SAT and other College Board tests are offered several times a year at various local high school campuses. Registration is online and students can specify a designate campus to take the test.

- Fill out the details and make the payment. The cost per test is $72.50 + processing fees. Please be sure to have a debit or credit card available before beginning registration.
