SHS COVID & Testing Information
Our community remains in a state of elevated COVID transmission, and it is reasonable to consider that we are all exposed to COVID in our schools and community. If your student is feeling ill, keep them home and test them with a home antigen test to rule out COVID. If the home test is negative, students may return when symptoms improve and they are fever free for 24 hours. Please report any new cases to [email protected] immediately. Our Health Team will reply promptly with Return-to School instructions

If you need additional home test kits, you may contact our Health Office to arrange for pick-up by calling 408-867-3411 x 220
To supplement the Home Antigen Testing Program, SHS will continue to offer free on-campus PCR testing on Mondays and Thursdays from 8 am to 4 pm with Inspire Diagnostics in the GYM FRONT.
Parents will need to PREREGISTER with INSPIRE, including providing insurance information. Regardless of insurance status, everyone will be eligible to test at no charge. Students and Staff are invited to test anytime - whether it be weekly, or after a known exposure. Results are typically available within 24 hours.
Please do not send your student to campus to test with Inspire if they are feeling ill.
