AP exams 2023 Link to College Board Exam Dates

Registration Links: For SHS to order an exam, students need to complete two steps: 1) Pay on Total Registration and 2) Enroll on their College Board account using the Join Code provided from Total Registration.

Fees:

Fee for AP exam: $120 each.

For exams for courses beginning prior to Nov 16, 2022

  • Students who cancel an exam by Monday - Oct 10, 2022 are entitled to a full refund of the exam fee.
  • Students who cancel an exam by Tuesday - Oct 11, 2022 are entitled to a refund of the exam fee minus a cancellation fee of $40.00 (per exam cancelled).
  • After Tuesday - Oct 11, 2022 there are no refunds.
  • Late fees are nonrefundable. 

For exams for courses beginning after Nov 15, 2022

  • Students who cancel an exam by Wed - Feb 15, 2023 are entitled to a full refund of the exam fee.
  • Students who cancel an exam by Thursday - Feb 16, 2023 are entitled to a refund of the exam fee minus a cancellation fee of $40.00 (per exam cancelled).
  • After Thursday - Feb 16, 2023 there are no refunds.
  • Late fees are nonrefundable.

Regular Registration Closes: Oct 3rd, 2022 @11:59pm .  

 
 

After November 8, 2022 the College Board charges a $40 Cancellation Fee per exam canceled.  Students who cancel an AP exam after November 8 will receive a $80 refund per exam.  Students taking Spring Semester AP US Government & Politics may register for their Spring AP Government & Politics exam in February.  All other AP exams must be ordered during the regular registration window which ends October 3rd.  
Students can cancel an AP exam by logging onto Total Registration. Once a student cancels an exam, that triggers SHS to process the refund and change the school’s exam order with the College Board. Students will get a refund of exam fees if they cancel an exam prior on or before October 10th, 2022.  We cannot refund the Late Order Fee of $40 for exams ordered after October 11th, 2022.

General Policies: SHS does not allow outside students to test with us. An outside student is defined as a student who do not attend SHS. If you attend a different school, you need to take your AP exams with them. The exceptions are homeschooled students and students at LGHS. If you are homeschooled and live in SHS attendance area, you can request to take AP exams at SHS. If you are at LGHS, you can request to take AP Chinese at SHS. All AP Chinese requests will be waitlisted and approved based on prioritization and space availability.
