Link Crew

What is Link Crew?

Link Crew is a Freshman transition program that welcomes incoming Freshmen and helps them to feel comfortable and supported throughout the first year of their high school experience. Link Crew Commissioners train incoming Juniors and Seniors in becoming mentors who are positive role models for incoming 9th graders. We welcome incoming Sophomores to join our Administrative Team, so Link Crew is really an opportunity for all Saratoga High School students.

Student Roles:
Link Crew Leaders are approximately 100+ Juniors and Seniors who are trained by Link Crew Commissioners to be leaders and mentors to a small group of Freshmen (see What does a Link Leader Do? for more information).  This relationship develops and grows throughout the school year through many activities that are planned by the Link Crew Commissioners.

Link Crew Commissioners is a team of six Juniors and Seniors who prepare and coordinate all Link Crew activities.  This includes training Link Crew Leaders, planning and overseeing Freshman Orientation, and coordinate activities with Link Crew Leaders that create connection among the Freshmen class throughout the school year.

Administrative Team consists of two Sophomores who help organize Link Crew activities, and who serve as assistants to the Commissioners and adult Link Crew Advisors.
