Guadalupe River Clean Up
Sunday, February 25, 10:00 AM-12:30 PM
Students and parents from SHS are invited to come and clean up the Guadalupe River.  The date of the clean up is Sunday, February 25 from 10:00 AM-12:30 PM. Our City Forest Tree Amigo Program
This Tree Amigo Leadership class will train you to care for the environment and help to lead others.  Classes are beginning now!  For more information contact: www.ourcityforest.org/tree-amigo/


Santa Cruz Outdoor Science School
The Outdoor Science School is accepting application for High School students to be cabin leaders and supervise a group of 10-12 students overnight.  The Science School offers a week-long hands on immersion program in the natural sciences for 5th and 6th graders.  All students will attend a training which includes leadership skills and risk management.  To apply contact:  cabinleaderinfo@santacruacoe.org

City of Saratoga Paint The City Prep Project
Volunteers are needed to prepare utility boxes in various locations for the artists in the Paint the City Program.  This would be a great project for a group to prepare boxes for painting throughout the city.  For more information contact: http://www.saratoga.ca.us/278/Volunteer

JCC Los Gatos- March 11th Event
The JCC in Los Gatos hosts a Fun and Sports with Friends and outdoor FUN day for Children with Special needs and their families.  The event will take place on March 11 from 11 AM-1PM.  this event needs volunteers, as each child with special needs will have a high school buddy for food and fun!  If you are interested in volunteering you must sign up at apjcc.org/sportsvolunteer and be 15 years or older.  For more information please contact Gabe Diamond at gabe@apjcc.org

Santa Clara Valley Water District
The Santa Clara Valley Water District's Youth Commission application process is now open!  Our goal is to gather 21 motivated high school students that will assist the board with public plicy, education, outreach, and all matters impacting Santa Clara County youth and the water district.  The deadline for applications is Friday, February 16, at 5:00 PM.  For questions, or to apply, please visit the Youth Commission homepage at http://valleywater.org/YouthCommission.aspx
